The AK-47 was; originally designed and made in Russia, and the number “47” refers to the year it was finished. Fast forward more than seven decades, and it has been one of the most copied or variated rifles ever. With most of the eastern block, soviet countries have their version along with Poland, China, and even countries in the middle east and Africa.
